Aarsleff to construct office building for Maersk Group

Per Aarsleff A/S has entered into a contract for the construction of a new office building for the Maersk Group at Amerika Plads in Copenhagen’s North Harbour.

Aarsleff is to carry out the office building as a design & build contract and is to carry out earthwork, sewer work, pile driving, concrete and element work in own production. In addition, Aarsleff’s subsidiary Wicotec Kirkebjerg A/S is to carry out technical installations, including electricity, plumbing and ventilation. Facade and fitting out work will be carried out by subcontractors.

The six-storey office building will have a total area of 13,000 square metres plus 3,000 square metres of basement.

The contract has a total value of over DKK 200 million, and the client is A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S. Aarsleff has appointed PLH Arkitekter A/S as consultant and MOE A/S as subconsultant.

The construction work starts in early September 2015 and is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2017.

The contract does not affect Aarsleff's earnings expectations for the financial year 2014/2015.
