Per Aarsleff A/S has entered into a design and build contract for the extension of Terminal 3 in Copenhagen Airport.
The construction contract is based on the co-creation contract which Aarsleff won back in March 2019 in collaboration with Cowi A/S, Zeso Architects and Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.
”We are very pleased that we have contributed to this project which we will now be executing for Copenhagen Airport. It has been a successful and efficient co-creation process, allowing us to develop and design the complex extension in a close collaboration. We have good experience from previous projects at the airport, and we are looking forward to this new, exciting project which will be progressing while airplanes, staff and passengers continue to use the airport as usual,” says Jesper Kristian Jacobsen, CEO of Aarsleff.
The extension will be completed in 2028 and during the first couple of years, there will only be limited building activity.
The contract has a value of DKK 2.1 billion.
The contract will be included in the outlook for the financial year 2021/22 published together with the annual report for the financial year 2020/21 on 21 December.
