In the near future, Per Aarsleff A/S expects to enter into a framework agreement with the utility company Aarhus Vand A/S on the renewal of water and wastewater pipes by means of excavation as well as the operation of water and wastewater. The contract will have a total value of DKK 420 million and covers the period from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2021.
In August, Aarsleff signed framework agreements with the utility companies Favrskov Spildevand A/S, Odder Spildevand A/S and Aarhus Vand A/S on trenchless renewal of wastewater pipes in the three supply zones. The three contracts have a value of DKK 150 million and also cover the period from 2016 to 2021.
The total value of all four framework agreements is expected to be DKK 570 million. Among other things, the agreements mean that Aarsleff and Aarhus Vand A/S continue their long-standing collaboration on both excavation and No-Dig.
The agreements are included in a partnering agreement under which the utility companies Favrskov Spildevand A/S, Odder Spildevand A/S and Aarhus Vand A/S carry out a joint tendering process for framework agreements.
”The partnering form of collaboration further strengthens the working relationship between the client and the contractor. Based on our extensive experience with framework agreements carried out in partnering, we know that we are able to create innovative initiatives and at the same time make our processes and working methods more efficient”, says general manager of Per Aarsleff A/S Ebbe Malte Iversen.
The contracts do not affect Aarsleff's earnings expectations for the financial year 2014/2015.
