In a 50/50 consortium, Aarsleff and E. Pihl & Søn A.S. have entered into a contract with Banedanmark for renovation of New Nørreport Station.
The contract value is approx. DKK 400 million, and the contract includes activities under ground as well as above ground. The work comprises renovation of concrete structures, new ventilation systems for improvement of the air quality as well as a new railway ramp and up-to-date station buildings.
The work begins now and will last three years.
In 2008, Aarsleff and E. Pihl & Søn A.S. completed a similar renovation of the Copenhagen Central Station.
The earnings impact of the contract will be included in the total earnings expectations which will be informed as usual in the preliminary announcement of financial statements for 2010/2011.
