Aarsleff is preferred contractor for the Kronløb Island project in Copenhagen’s North Harbour
Kronløbsøen Projekt P/S has announced that after the tender submission Per Aarsleff A/S has been chosen as preferred contractor for the design phase. The design phase is expected to last three months.
During the design phase Aarsleff will carry out project optimisation together with the team of consulting engineers in order to meet the client requirements as to quality level, budget and time schedule.
If this phase progresses according to plan, the parties intend to enter into a subsequent design and build contract.
The project comprises approx. 8,000 square metres of apartments on the waterfront, access tunnel to the Kronløb Island, a three-storey underground parking garage and approx. 25,000 square metres of residential and commercial buildings in six separate complexes on top of the underground parking garage.
The contract value of the design and build contract is expected to exceed DKK 1 billion.
The contract does not affect Aarsleff's earnings expectations for the financial year 2017/18.
