As part of the current maintenance of buildings and pipelines at a hospital in Roskilde, Denmark, a TV inspection showed that an existing concrete pipe, dimensioned 1600 mm in diameter, was severely damaged. The pipe either had to be re-laid or renovated.

Due to the pipeline depth, volume requirements, period of execution and other ongoing works close by the pipe was rehabilitated with Aarsleff Segmental Lining.

The segmental lining solution requires only a small working space and the cross section is reduced minimally. The latter constituted an important parameter for the client.

Aarsleff executed the contract in one week. After this the pipe was put into service again.
