A TV inspection of the main process pipes at a dairy in Holstebro, Denmark, revealed a weakened bearing capacity in the pipes due to corrosion. The corrosion was caused by the high operating temperatures applied and the chemical impact from the cleaning processes.

The pipes are located in a very busy area, and since they are in service day and night, and the dairy had to maintain production, renovation by traditional excavation was impossible.

Aarsleff solved the problem with an Aarsleff CIPP Lining of two DN 300mm pipes - a job executed in only 48 hours. The new linings are resistant to the high temperatures and chemical impacts.
