A CCTV inspection of the main process pipes at a dairy in Holstebro, Denmark, revealed a weakened bearing capacity in the pipes due to corrosion. The corrosion was caused by the high operating temperatures applied and the chemical impact from the cleaning processes.
The pipes were located in a very busy area, and since they were in service day and night, and the dairy had to maintain production, renewal by traditional excavation was impossible.
Aarsleff solved the problem with an Aarsleff CIPP Lining of two DN300mm pipes - a job executed in only 48 hours. The new linings are resistant to the high temperatures and chemical impacts.
