Pipe bursting can be applied for renovation of practically all types of pipeline. The method involves the replacement of an existing pipe with a new PE pipe of the same or larger diameter.
A bursting head is pressed through the defect pipeline that is crushed and replaced by a new PE pipe. The advantage is the larger capacity of the pipe stretch in question that can be obtained by increasing the diameter. Pipe bursting can be executed in all pipes that allow for pulling through a steel wire.
