In cooperation with a local company in Ghana, Per Aarsleff A/S has signed a contract with the Danish International Development Assistance, Danida, on extension of 42 kilometres of main road in central Ghana. The contract is the outcome of an invitation to tender held in the spring, where the consortium was the lowest tenderer.

The contract value is DKK250 million and Aarsleff’s share constitutes half of this amount. The work will be commenced in the beginning of 2004 and is to be executed during the period up to 2007. Approx. ten Danish engineers and supervisors will be stationed in Ghana during the implementation of this project.
