Aarsleff uses segmental lining for rehabilitation of all kinds of pipeline of large dimension and cross section as well as for manholes.

Aarsleff Segmental Lining consists of prefabricated elements produced with the desired cross section. Depending on the access conditions at the site the elements are supplied as segments or as whole elements.

The prefabricated elements are lowered into the pipeline from a manhole or an excavated pit and pushed in place. If segmental lining is executed with segments, the latter are joined in bond. After connecting the segments and sealing the joints, the cavity space between the existing and the new pipe is injected with special concrete.
