Brabrand Boligforening, a housing association in Brabrand, Denmark, chose to have the entire sewer system in the residential area Gellerupparken CCTV inspected. The housing association wanted to get an idea of the actual condition of the underground pipe system.

The CCTV inspection showed a pipe system in a considerably worse condition than expected. Therefore, Brabrand Boligforening decided to put the sewer rehabilitation works out to tender.

Renovation of the forty-year-old sewer system at Gellerupparken comprised 200 m of pipe, dimensioned 250 mm in diameter, and 70 other repairs. Aarsleff executed all repairs applying trenchless techniques and finished the work in four weeks.
