On Tuesday the 9th of March 2004, Scandinavia’s biggest shopping centre Field’s Copenhagen opened.
Ever since the beginning four years ago, Aarsleff has been part of this major construction project. Back then the Field’s area was nothing but a bare field in the centre of the Ørestad.
Aarsleff has implemented infrastructure and concrete works worth more than DKK 175 million, and we were the first contractor on the project. In September 2000 we commenced the actual cofferdam including the design and site development works for the future shopping centre.
Our work includes earthworks, groundwater lowering, foundation works, pipe and concrete works as well as granite and asphalt/Densiphalt surfaces.
