Sliplining involves lining with PE pipes in existing pipelines. Aarsleff uses Sliplining for all types of pipe, irrespective of whether they are sewer, water, gas or process pipes. The important thing is that a diminished cross section is tolerable.
Prior to the renewal, Aarsleff excavates an entry pit. An existing manhole is used as exit pit. In addition, we excavate for all laterals.
Once the excavations are completed and the joints exposed, we either push or pull the long welded PE pipes into the existing pipe.
We subsequently prepare all connections and restore all excavations.
The cavity space between the new and the old pipe is injected so that the new PE pipe is secured.
