As part of the general maintenance of the production equipment at a dairy in Holstebro, Denmark, 12 manholes had to be renovated. Five of these manholes are vital to the production and therefore had to be renovated during a planned 24-hour production break.
Aarsleff applied the SprayWall method to the manholes. The method is trenchless and suited for renovation of manholes as well as buildings with corroded walls. SpayWall is sprayed on with a compressed-air spray pistol and cures in only a few seconds.
The work on the five manholes comprised sealing and brick-up work on the haunches, before the manholes were renovated within the planned 24-hour production break. The seven other manholes were renovated without interrupting the production.
