During the period 2000-2001, Aarsleff constructed six wastewater treatment plants in the mountainous Nghe An province in Vietnam.

The project comprised land reclamation, construction of buildings, crude water pipelines, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, distribution network and electrical works.

Training of technical staff and operating crews was also included in the contract.
