During the period 2000-2001 Aarsleff constructed six waste-water treatment plants in the mountainous Nghe An province in Vietnam.

The project comprised land reclamation, construction of buildings, crude-water pipelines, waste-water treatment plants, pump stations, distribution network and electrical works.

Training of technical staff and operating crews was also included in the contract.
