On Saturday 8 November 2003, Her Highness Princess Nathalie and Minister of Transport Flemming Hansen opened a new 17km stretch of motorway between Århus and Låsby in Denmark. The stretch is the most eastern section of the Herning-Århus motorway.

In a consortium with Ove Arkil A/S, Aarsleff executed the contract from the Århus suburb Brabrand to Årslev on the E45 motorway. The interweaving between the new and the existing motorway is special, as it is the first fully developed cloverleaf construction with interchange ramps in all directions.
