A TV inspection carried out at Varde Barracks showed that several of the existing sewer pipes needed renovation. Roots from surrounding trees had found their way into the sewers, and the pipe system had misaligned joints and cracks at the bottom.

Aarsleff was awarded the contract on rehabilitating the total 672 m of main pipe and laterals with Aarsleff CIPP lining.

In spite of hectic activity and difficult access conditions at the site Aarsleff completed the rehabilitation works in only four days.
