Geotechnical site investigations
– For optimum planning and design
Aarsleff has its own drilling department with specialist expertise in soil engineering. Optimum planning and design requires that client, consultant and contractor have all information about soil engineering and potential contamination.
Our site investigation comprises a geotechnical investigation and/or an environmental study. The geotechnical investigation will show the load bearing capacity and settlement conditions of the subsoil, while the environmental study will map out and describe the environmental conditions.
Small as well as large-scale projects
The geotechnical site investigations are carried out for both small as well as large-scale projects. The purpose is to gain more knowledge about the soil and to be sure that we are choosing the right method for an optimum execution of the project - both technically and financially.
Our drilling department carries out the following work:
- geotechnical drilling
- hydrogeological investigations
- groundwater drillings
- environmental studies
- water reclamation
