Per Aarsleff A/S has entered into a DKK 170 million contract with the Lebanese contractor Hourie S.A.R.L. for the execution of new berths and hinterland in connection with the expansion of the port in Beirut, Lebanon.
The project is to increase the capacity of the container terminal and future-proof the position of the port as the leading port of the area.
Aarsleff is responsible for both design and execution. The design work has been assigned to Rambøll by Aarsleff.
The project will begin immediately and be completed during the spring of 2016.
The earnings impact of the contract will be included in the total earnings expectations which will be informed as usual in the preliminary announcement of financial statements for 2012/2013.
